1. Start-up(Sample) fee?

When we don’t have the sample that the customer needs in stock and the customer needs it, we need to start up the machine to produce the sample specifically for the customer.
Our factory will charge a start-up fee about 30$(Year-2024) per model. If the customer places a large order for this product the start-up fee can be refunded to the customer.

Dear customer, if you feel that the start-up fee is not worthy, please contact me. We can suggest the customer to use other samples of the same type instead (our salesman can search the inventory, find out the same type of sample style in stock, and recommend it to the customer).

2. Why is the sample quality so bad?

In principle, all samples delivered to customers need to be checked by our salesperson for quality, and equipped with relevant screws, washers, keys and other small accessories before being delivered to customers.

When customers receive samples and feel that the quality is not very good, please notify us. Explain the situation clearly (the samples have been stored for too long, or they were not well protected during storage, resulting in average quality of the samples). The samples are only for customers to refer to the size specifications. We can also attach our new products for customers to refer to the quality. After obtaining the customer’s consent, we will deliver new samples as replacements.

3. Uniformity of product color?

Color, especially gold, sometimes is difficult to control that all products must be the same gold?

We cannot 100% guarantee that the color of each batch of metal products will remain consistent.
The following are some factors that affect color:

Different electroplating plants
Different electroplating times
Different electroplating batches
Different operators
Different electroplated products

There will definitely be some color difference, and there will inevitably be color difference for rack plating and barrel plating, but the color needs to be within a reasonable acceptable range.

if the customer says that no color difference is acceptable, there is no way to operate; if the customer is still worried, you can go online to find some pictures of barrel-plated and rack-plated products on the same bag and send them to the customer, because the accessories are only a very small part of the entire bag, and you can also provide a product for the customer to see, and take some pictures (you are welcome to think about providing more ways to convince customers).

4. Will the color fade?

The color will not fade during normal storage (like our inventory is packed and placed on the shelf), but there will be friction during the use of accessories, which will cause the electroplating color to change. Therefore, the amount of color fading of accessories is greatly affected by the degree of friction during use (accessories will be touched by people, hit by other objects, etc.), and whether they are exposed to related solutions (such as rain, sweat, laundry detergent, soapy water, etc.) during use will also have an impact; finally, the accessories will be exposed to the air and will be oxidized by the air, which is also a factor in their discoloration.

If it is an iron product, special attention should be paid here. The material of iron itself will rust, so this cannot be avoided. It is just that good electroplating can play a good protective role and prevent it from being oxidized and rusted for a long time.

5. Production and delivery time?

Production Time: 15 – 20 days.
Because Guangzhou YHD is a factory and YHD has always prepare raw materials in stock to handle most of the production.

Delivery time: Depend on types of logistic
Generally, customers are more concerned about shipping costs, because the delivery time is usually only three to five days different. And these delivery times cannot be guaranteed 100%. If customers are more concerned about delivery time, we need to remind customers that delivery time is uncertain.

6. What is the size of the molded product?

Because it is an online communication, it is normal for customers to be unsure about the size of the sample. Please contact us.

Our salesperson will introduce it to the customer based on experience. If the customer still feels unsure, we can contact colleagues in the mold factory for video conference assistance.

7. What is YHD's lowest price?

If the customer wants the lowest unit price in the entire market, our factory cannot do it because our materials are environmentally friendly and the overall factory cost is slightly higher than that of a family workshop.

Because for the same product, the unit price will be different if the customer has different requirements. But our quotation is also free? YHD believes that although YHD’s price is not absolutely the lowest in the market, both price and quality are relatively advantageous.

8. What test report does YHD have?

YHD’s has the following test reports:

Hardware report certificate
SGS
REAGH
Salt spray test

Other customers have previously taken YHD products for relevant testing, all of which passed, and placed bulk orders.
If the customer needs, YHD can provide samples, and the customer can take them for relevant testing.

9. The mold fee is too expensive.

Expensive mold fees ensure the quality of production.

Hardware molds are used in industrial production to make parts or products of the required shape from metal materials using various presses and special tools installed on the presses. Such special tools are collectively called hardware molds. The quality of the mold will directly affect the quality of the bulk goods, so a good mold is the cornerstone of the product!

Our molds are all made of H13 special mold material (H13 is a hot working mold steel, which is a type of steel formed by adding alloy elements to carbon steel). The quality is guaranteed, and we will provide lifelong maintenance for the molds. This fee is charged once. Customers may only make goods once a year, but we still need to maintain the molds on a regular basis to ensure that our molds can be used normally whenever customers place orders.

10. Are the products we make really non-toxic? What is the proof?

Non-toxic relative to our hardware products, generally only means nickel free and lead free (English nickel free lead free), including the environmental protection of the raw material zinc alloy, and the environmental protection of the electroplating layer.

Lead-free here does not mean that it is completely lead-free, but that the lead content is lower than 90PPM or 180PPM, because these two standards are now generated by more customer requirements, and the minimum is 90PPM, which meets EU standards; if customers have such requirements, our non-toxic electroplating can meet them, because our materials themselves are environmentally friendly materials, as long as it is indicated that it is environmentally friendly electroplating during production.

11. Can the molds be reused or for one-time use?

It can be used for a long time, unless the mold is scrapped, it cannot be used again!

If the mold is used for a long time and the order volume is large (for example, hundreds of thousands, orders are placed every month), there is a chance that it will be scrapped; or if there is a problem with maintenance. We will make a new set by ourselves.

12. Payment term?

30% deposit in advance, the balance to be paid before shipment

13. Can samples be provided free of charge?

For products with low value (only a few cents), we can give customers less than 10 samples (if we have stock), but the shipping cost needs to be borne by the customer;

For products with high prices (costs some $US dollars), we generally only give customers one or two free samples (if we have stock), and the excess will be charged to the customer, and the shipping cost is also borne by the customer.
